This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to the FosterPanel website, control panel, APIs, and agents, and to products sold through Lemon Squeezy Checkout.

1. Scope

FosterPanel is software for managing your own servers and infrastructure. You must use the Service lawfully and only for that purpose. Paid plans are resold by Lemon Squeezy; you must also comply with Lemon Squeezy’s Terms (including Appendix A) and Buyer Terms.

2. FosterPanel use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful activity, abuse, fraud, or to attack third-party systems.
  • Attempt to bypass authentication, two-factor / step-up verification, billing entitlements, or agent trust controls.
  • Interfere with Service integrity, scrape in an abusive way, or overload shared infrastructure.
  • Copy, reverse engineer, or resell the FosterPanel Service itself except as we expressly allow in writing.
  • Upload malware or misuse protection, firewall, proxy, or similar features to harm others or conceal illegal activity.
  • Store or transmit infringing, libelous, or otherwise unlawful material, or material that violates third-party privacy rights.
  • Use the Service for spamming, phishing, or other deceptive practices.
  • Use FosterPanel as spyware, a parental-control product, or covert monitoring of people who have not authorized access to the host you manage.

Firewall, protection, and proxy tools are for hosts you own or are authorized to administer. You are responsible for data and activity on servers you connect.

3. Lemon Squeezy prohibited categories

You must not market, advertise, offer, or sell through FosterPanel or Lemon Squeezy Checkout any product or service Lemon Squeezy prohibits. We do not reproduce their catalog here because it can change without notice.

The live Prohibited Products page is broader than Appendix A. It currently covers additional categories such as physical goods, services of any kind, spyware and parental-control apps, job boards, dating sites, marketplaces, advertising placements, IPTV, and NFT/crypto products, among others. That live page controls for Lemon Squeezy store review and can change immediately.

If your use would make FosterPanel’s offering fall into a prohibited category, you must not complete a purchase or continue using paid checkout.

4. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and suspend or terminate accounts, with or without notice when urgency requires it. Lemon Squeezy may delay payouts, suspend supplier accounts, or refund transactions where its terms allow (including fraud or prohibited products).
