This page explains who sells paid FosterPanel subscriptions, who handles tax and receipts, and how checkout works. It is part of our Terms of Service and Refund Policy.

1. Merchant of Record

Paid FosterPanel subscriptions are sold by Lemon Squeezy as our non-exclusive reseller and Merchant of Record. You buy from Lemon Squeezy; FosterPanel supplies the software.

Lemon Squeezy is operated by Sold through Link, LLC (f/k/a Lemon Squeezy LLC), 222 South Main Street, Suite 500, Salt Lake City, Utah 84101, United States. For buyer-facing Merchant of Record identity, Lemon Squeezy is the reseller at 222 South Main Street, Suite 500, Salt Lake City, Utah 84101.

Under Lemon Squeezy’s seller terms, Lemon Squeezy sets us up as a supplier, resells the product via Lemon Squeezy Checkout in supported territories, connects buyers so they can access the product, and is responsible for order support and sales tax as between you, Lemon Squeezy, and FosterPanel.

Your payment method statement may show Lemon Squeezy (or a similar descriptor), not FosterPanel.

3. Lemon Squeezy Purchase & Buyer Terms

Reseller / Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy (Sold through Link, LLC (f/k/a Lemon Squeezy LLC)), 222 South Main Street, Suite 500, Salt Lake City, Utah 84101, is the Merchant of Record for paid FosterPanel subscriptions. You purchase from Lemon Squeezy; FosterPanel licenses the software under the Terms of Service & EULA.

Billing details

  • Receipts and invoices are sent electronically (email) to the address you provide at checkout. Keep that email accurate; Lemon Squeezy is not responsible if you do not receive confirmation because the address is wrong.
  • Indirect sales tax refunds (VAT, GST, consumption tax, and similar) must be requested within 60 days of the purchase, directly from Lemon Squeezy, with a valid tax registration / tax ID for the country of purchase. Requests after 60 days are not processed.
  • FosterPanel does not currently offer Lemon Squeezy free trials or pre-orders. Access starts when payment is confirmed.

Lemon Squeezy disclosures

Under Lemon Squeezy Buyer Terms, you must contact Lemon Squeezy before raising a chargeback or bank dispute. A bad-faith or meritless chargeback (as determined by Lemon Squeezy) may incur a $100 USD fee charged by Lemon Squeezy and may result in Lemon Squeezy blocking further purchases where it is merchant. FosterPanel may also suspend or terminate the related panel account while the dispute is investigated or after a meritless chargeback.

4. Checkout

Checkout is presented by Lemon Squeezy (hosted checkout or overlay). Before you complete a purchase you must accept the Lemon Squeezy Buyer Terms (click-wrap). Those terms govern your transaction with Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record.

By completing checkout you also accept FosterPanel’s Terms of Service, Refund Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy.

Paid plans are typically monthly subscriptions that renew until cancelled. Cancel through the panel where available and/or Lemon Squeezy’s customer tools at least 48 hours before the current period ends so the next renewal does not charge.

5. Tax, receipts & PCI

  • Applicable sales tax (including VAT/GST where required) is handled by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record.
  • Receipts and tax invoices are issued by Lemon Squeezy in electronic format (email) to the address you provide at checkout.
  • Indirect sales tax refunds (VAT/GST and similar) must be requested from Lemon Squeezy within 60 days of purchase, with a valid tax ID. See section 3.
  • FosterPanel does not store full payment card details. Lemon Squeezy is responsible for the security of cardholder data that resides on the Lemon Squeezy service (PCI-DSS).
  • Lemon Squeezy’s processing of buyer personal data is described in Lemon Squeezy’s Privacy Policy and DPA.

6. Refunds

FosterPanel offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on qualifying paid charges. Refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy. Details, how to request, and how this sits with Lemon Squeezy’s Buyer Terms are in the Refund Policy.
